What most people don't realise is female operatives have some massive advantages in the field. We blend in almost anywhere. A woman sitting alone in a café? Totally normal. Standing outside a building? Just waiting for someone. Nobody thinks twice.

We can shift personas like it's nothing. Business professional at lunch, west London hot yoga mum at the park, tourist taking photos, whatever the situation needs. And honestly? People just don't expect us to be the threat. That unconscious bias works in our favor every single time.

There are spaces men simply can't access without raising flags. Women's spaces, certain social circles, spa environments, school pickup lines. We move through these spaces invisible, gathering intel while everyone assumes we belong there.

The best part? Enhanced observation skills come naturally when society has trained you to be hyperaware of your surroundings your whole life. We notice the details others miss.

Bottom line: the operative you never saw coming is usually the most effective one. And that's often a woman.
